Our take on a true classic, the irresistible Insalata Caprese! We use the finest Mozzarella Burrata, a creamy soft ball of pure joy, on a base of our homemade Basil and Pine nuts pesto –  with Pecorino Romano DOP, Grana Padano DOP, Italian Extra virgin olive oil and absolutely no substitute ingredients! Topped up with our handmade Confit Cherry Tomatoes and a generous serving of Grana Padano flakes, all to be served in our very own delicious focaccia, soft and fluffy on the inside, crunchy on the outside.

The box contains enough ingredients to serve four generous portions, it can be kept in the fridge for up to 4 days.

All you have to do is to briefly warm up the focaccia in a hot oven, put together the sandwiches with the help of our recipes that also come in the box, and this unforgettable treat is ready to amaze you and your guests.

Divide the focaccia into four equal parts, and slice them in half. Cover the bottom half with a spoonful of the pesto. Divide the burrata into four equally sized portions, maybe keep a little extra for yourself (we all do that). Place the burrata on top of the pesto, follow with the confit cherry tomatoes and another drizzle of the basil pesto. Top it up with the flakes of Grana Padano, and the sandwich is ready to serve!


Add some extra virgin olive oil, freshly ground black pepper and some chilly flakes on the burrata for an extra kick. You can also add some rucola or fresh basil leaves to the sandwich. If you have some balsamic vinegar glaze, that would be a perfect addition to the recipe!

Serve the focaccia with a fresh, fruity wine, a Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Grigio or a nice dry Prosecco.
