Madeo makes the finest Calabrian delicacies, always with tradition, innovation and sustainability in mind. This Calabrian Spianata is made from lean pork meat and enriched with the bold kick of Calabrian black peppercorns and chili peppers, grown by the producer. This unique salami matures for a minimum of 45 days, ensuring a rich, moderately spicy, and full-bodied taste. Its distinctive flattened shape is a testament to the artisanal tradition behind this remarkable charcuterie.

Whether you’re using it on a spicy pizza, or as an antipasto alongside a freshly baked focaccia and sweet figs, or pairing it with juicy melon, Spianata Calabrese by Madeo is a delight that’s hard to resist. The quality of the product is impeccable, the heat is quite mild and pleasant. We really enjoy it on top of a pizza with some spiced honey.
